Hopefully somebody will be able to put me in the rite direction. Is there any way of getting an engine temp, water or oil on the dash or on my screen permenantly. Dont know if its doable?

Don't you hold the settings button until it beeps, then press the BC button to scroll through until you find the one you're after?
Dont know but I pressed and held BC but it didnt do anything other than take me into the BC screen.

just keep bc help untill you hear a beep 3-5secs. Then as simil3r said use bc button each time to scroll through test screens. Depending on what screen you have u will either have a T for temp on a 3line or Oc for temp on a GID/CID if
